I’m a creative at heart with a passion for storytelling, design, and innovation in learning. With over a decade of experience leading instructional design initiatives across scientific, corporate, and higher education environments, I specialize in crafting immersive, learner-centered experiences that drive real-world results.

At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), I design scenario-based eLearning for thousands of staff and affiliates, across multiple disciplines, who work in high-risk environments. My work is grounded in performance-based models like Action Mapping and CCAF in the service of safety at the cutting edge of science. I’m skilled at translating complex technical or academic content into accessible, impactful, and memorable learning solutions.

I’ve developed courses and training programs for clients like Cisco, Visa, CSAA, Genentech, UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and the University of San Francisco, using scenario-based, multimedia-rich learning to engage learners and enhance job performance.

As a builder of teams and systems, I’ve developed multiple online graduate programs, founded UC Berkeley’s first Instructional Design Community of Practice, and established SOPs and templates that streamline development while maintaining creativity. I thrive at the intersection of design, strategy, and innovation—often weaving new ways of thinking into everything from course architecture to user experience.

Beyond instructional design, I’m a storyteller drawn to photography, videography, and writing. These creative pursuits inform my work, bringing empathy, visual thinking, and narrative clarity to the learning experiences I create. Whether collaborating with subject matter experts, mentoring designers, or producing multimedia content, I aim to make learning engaging, human-centered, and transformative.
